The hit thriller “Paranormal Activity” apparently has moviegoers searching the Internet to see whether star Micah Sloat is dead or alive.
As people flock to the film, they wonder whether Micah Sloat is dead at the beginning or end of the movie, but in real life, he is alive, MyFoxNY.com reported. His character in the movie is also named Micah, which may be causing some of the confusion. Also, the movie has a real-life feel to it and has been compared to “The Blair Witch Project.”
The movie takes place in a supposedly haunted house in Chicago. It was produced for about $15,000 and has already made more than $30 million at the box office. It was initially released to a limited audience, but due to an online campaign and rave reviews, it opened nationwide last weekend.
