Director Roshan Andrews (of ‘Notebook’, ‘Udayannanu Thaaram’ fame) will start shooting for his second Lal starrer ‘Casanova’ from the second week of this April. The movie will feature Lakshmi Rai, Priyanaka and five super models.

The movie is planned as a romantic thriller where the protagonist believes that love can cure crime. In fact, Lal is playing the role of a businessman who makes big money with the flower business based on Vienna. The movie will be one of the most costliest film in Mollywood and will be completed in around 10 crores. Majority of the shooting for Casanova ” will be completed at Vienna and other European nations.

The pooja of the movie was held last weekend at Bangalore, which was attended by all important film personalities who consistently keep in touch with Lal.

Rosshan Andrrews, who had announced his third film Casanova quite some time back, is now all set to start work on the film. The pooja for this Mohanlal-starrer was held recently in the presence of Rosshan Andrrews, Joshi, Priyadarshan, Sibi Malayil etc.

One of the main attractions of Casanova will be that Tamil actor Arya, whose Naan Kadavul is being released in the first week of February, and whose Sarvam too is getting ready for release, will make his debut in Malayalam with the film. Casanova, which is Rosshan Andrrews’ third film after the blockbuster Udayanaanu Thaaram and the teenage romance Notebook, features script by Bobby and Sanjay who had also written the script for Notebook.

Produced by the Confident Group, Casanova has Mohanlal playing a Casanova kind of character. Arya plays a very important role in the film. Lakshmi Rai will also play a key role. The film will commence in April and will be shot mostly in foreign locations. Casanova will be Mohanlal’s Onam release this year.

he long awaiting of Roshan Andrus is finally over. The director, who is known for his very bold films like Note book and Udhayanaanu Thaaram, has been awaiting for dates from the superstar Mohanlal for one of the best scripts among his next projects.

The new venture which is titled as Casanova will bring out some of the unseen performances and acts from the star through a very different character, the film which is to be scripted by Bobby Sanjay, will be produced by Impressario motion Pictures limited.

Undoubtingly the movie will be one of the prestigious projects of the star, next year.
