Koochie Koochie Hota Hai: Tarun Mansukhani’s DOSTANA is just about two months away but he already is moving ahead with his next film for Karan Johar’s KOOCHIE KOOCHIE HOTA HAI. Though this animation film based on KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI was announced a few months now, the plans have now been confirmed for its release as well.

As per sources, KOOCHIE KOOCHIE HOTA HAI is eyeing an August 2009 release date. Apparently, the month of August is now being considered to be quite lucky for Bollywood, especially since SINGH IS KINNG, BACHNA AE HASEENO, PHOONK as well as ROCK were released in the same month this year.

Coming back to KOOCHIE KOOCHIE HOTA HAI,the film would feature animals in principal roles instead of humans a new experience which is all set to make an impression with Yash Raj Films’ ROADSIDE ROMEO (arriving this winter).

KOOCHIE KOOCHIE HOTA HAI sees Karan Johar coming along with Prana Studios, a Los Angeles and Mumbai-based renowned 3D animation studio which would be co-producing the film. The film is touted to incorporate the latest innovations in computer graphics and promises to recreate the magic of the original film with the voice of the original cast – Shah Rukh Khan,Kajol and Rani Mukherjee.

Tarun Mansukhani is going to strike again with a Dharma Productions film, Koochie Koochie Hota Hai. This animated version of Karan’s directorial debut, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is being co-produced by Prana Studios, a Los Angeles and Mumbai based renowned 3D animation studio.

Sources claim, “Tarun has already begun working on this animated love story remake. There are only three main characters of SRK, Kajol and Rani and currently the production team is working on the set up of the film. It’s going to be a huge task to have similar set up but animated as the music of the film will be the same. The dubbing of the each characters is remaining. SRK will start work on Koochie Koochie Hota Hai  project by February. Koochie Koochie Hota Hai film will show the love triangle of dogs.”

The Koochie Koochie Hota Hai movie will be a love story of three dogs- Rocky, Angie and Tina and for the supporting cast there willare roosters, cats, bears, pigs and many others from the animal kingdom.  Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee will reprise their voices for the lead trio. The potential date for the release of this project Koochie Koochie Hota Hai  is late summers 2009.

Now isn’t this project of Karan very innovative-  Hope the animated way in Koochie Koochie Hota Hai brings alot of success for the film and the film maker once again…..So fans of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai are you ready to watch the animated remake of the film-  What are your expectations and do you think it is a good idea to remake a blockbuster like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai-
